If you’ve never heard of a breakfast bomb, you’re about to meet one of your new morning favorites. Pop ’em in your air fryer and breakfast will be served in no time flat.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 11 minutes
Servings: Makes 8 breakfast bombs
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 8 ounce roll crescent dough sheet
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup fully cooked turkey sausage crumbles or Canadian bacon, diced
Directions:
Whisk together eggs and 2 teaspoons water in a medium bowl. Pour egg mixture into a skillet and scramble over medium-high heat, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Roll out crescent dough sheet onto work surface and cut into eight equal pieces.
For each breakfast bomb, place 2 tablespoons cheese in middle of crescent dough. Top with eggs and 2 tablespoons sausage crumbles or Canadian bacon. Wrap dough around filling to form a purse, pinching dough together at seams and top.
Place breakfast bombs in single layer in air fryer basket. Spray well with cooking spray. Cook at 350°F until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes, flipping bombs for last minute. Remove from air fryer basket. Work in batches, if necessary. Serve warm.
Enjoy!
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: Be careful not to overfill your dough otherwise it’ll start to break and your filling will come out while cooking.
