Breakfast has never been easier with these irresistible, cinnamon sugar dusted donuts – made in the handy dandy air fryer. Mmm mmm good!
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 6 minutes per batch
Servings: Makes 8 donuts and 8 donut holes
Ingredients:
- 16.3 ounce can large refrigerated biscuits
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
Remove biscuits from can and separate onto flat work surface. Using a small round cookie cutter, cut center out of each biscuit.
Spray inside of air fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in batches, place donuts in air fryer in a single layer. Generously spray with cooking spray. Cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Flip donuts, spray with cooking spray and continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes. Remove from air fryer and transfer to baking sheet. Repeat previous steps with doughnut holes, cooking 90 seconds per side. Let donuts cool slightly.
In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Brush all sides of warm donuts with butter and toss in cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
Enjoy!
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: To make tossing the donuts in cinnamon sugar easier, combine the sugar and cinnamon in a resealable container. Place your butter-covered donut in the container, put the lid on and lightly shake to coat it.
