These irresistible lil’ smokies are one of our favorite slow cooker recipes. They’re the perfect snack food – they use only four ingredients, are thrown together in just a couple minutes and are a tried-and-true crowd pleaser.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 2 hours

Servings: 8-10


  • 36 ounces beef lit’l smokies
  • 4 1/2 cups barbecue sauce (we used our Homemade Barbecue Sauce)
  • 12 ounce jar grape jelly
  • 12 ounce can cola soda


Place all ingredients in crock of slow cooker and stir well to combine.

Insert crock into slow cooker and cook on low heat, at least 2 hours.


ORANGE & FIELD TIP: We always prepare these in our slow cooker but you could also make them on the stove in a large saucepan. Cook them over low heat until they’re warmed through.
