Bunny hop hop! Your little kiddo is going to love these adorable homemade bunny ears. Best part – they’re super simple to make.
- 6-foot piece fuzzy chenille stem (we found this at our local craft store)
- Pink felt
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Ribbon (optional)
Starting at one end of headband, wrap chenille stem around until you’ve gone 1/3 up the side, ensuring you tuck end of chenille stem underneath wrapped section. Using chenille stem, form an ear by creating a large loop. With bottom ends of loop touching, continue wrapping chenille stem around headband for about an additional 2 inches. Repeat previous step to create second ear loop. Continue wrapping chenille stem around remainder of headband. Trim off excess.
Cut two pieces of pink felt to fit inside ear loops. Using hot glue, carefully secure felt to inside of each loop. Let dry completely.
If desired, cut a length of ribbon and create a bow. Attach bow to bottom of one ear loop using hot glue.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: We went with more traditional colors but these headbands would be super cute in bright pastel colors, too.
