Everything tastes better dipped in chocolate – especially strawberries. They’re beautiful, indulgent, romantic and super easy to make.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 1 minute
Servings: Makes about 15 strawberries
- 2 cups milk or white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 pint strawberries
Thoroughly rinse strawberries and pat dry with paper towels.
Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 45 seconds. Stir until chocolate is smooth and creamy. Continue microwaving in 10 second intervals until fully melted, if necessary.
To coat, hold strawberries by leaves and spoon chocolate onto them, ensuring all sides are covered. Lightly shake off any excess chocolate, allowing it to drip off. Lay strawberries on parchment lined baking sheet. Transfer baking sheet to refrigerator until chocolate is set, about 15-30 minutes.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: While the strawberries already look fantastic covered in chocolate alone, you can also add decorative touches, if desired. Reserve a small amount of melted white chocolate chips and mix in red food coloring until desired color is reached. Drizzle on top of strawberries with a fork while their chocolate coating is still slightly wet. Charlotte says that red or pink sanding sugar is also a fun little accent.
