- Caramel bits
- M&M’s Minis, chopped nuts (optional)
- Honeycrisp apples
- Wooden dowels
- Clear cellophane treat bags
- Printable Caramel Apple Instructions (available below)
- Gift tags
- Twine or ribbon
Place caramel bits in small canning jars. If including chocolates or chopped nuts, place a thin layer of them in the jar first and then top with caramel bits. Close jar tightly.
Insert jar in treat bag and place apple on top. Place wooden dowel and Printable Caramel Apple Instructions behind apple and jar. Tie twine or ribbon around the top of the treat bag. Address gift tag and thread through twine or ribbon. Secure gift tag with a bow and trim with scissors, if necessary. Trim excess cellophane from top of treat bag, if desired.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: Cubes of caramel can be used but the caramel bits seem to fit into the jars better.
