This Charlotte-approved DIY is almost more fun to make than they are to use. Who knew something this easy could be, as Charlotte puts it, so awesome.
- Crayons (we used approximately 12 crayons per DIY crayon)
- Craft knife
- Silicone mold
- Baking sheet
- Aluminum foil
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Using a craft knife, carefully remove the paper wrappers from around each crayon. Break each crayon into 3 to 4 pieces and place into silicone mold, nearly filling each cavity completely.
Place silicone mold on foil-lined baking sheet and place in oven. Bake until all crayons have melted completely, about 10 minutes. Carefully remove baking sheet from the oven and allow crayons to cool completely in mold. Once cool, remove crayons from silicone mold.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: Placing the silicone mold on a foil-lined baking sheet will prevent the melted crayons from spilling when moving them.
