COOKING WITH CHEF CHARLOTTE
Little hands and little mouths are sure to love this fall-inspired treat. Not only is it fun to make but it tastes just as good as it looks.

Cook time: 1 minute
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup Reeses Pieces (“leaves”)
- 1 cup pretzel sticks (“twigs”)
Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and mix well, ensuring all chocolate is melted.
Place Chex cereal in large bowl and add chocolate/peanut butter mixture. Gently combine with a large spoon. Place in refrigerator to cool slightly.
Once cool to the touch, add 1 cup powdered sugar to cereal mixture and gently stir to combine. Repeat with remaining powdered sugar. The chocolate shouldn’t come off onto your fingers when you touch the cereal mixture. If it does, add a little additional powdered sugar, as needed.
Add Reeses Pieces and pretzel sticks and gently stir to combine.
CHEF CHARLOTTE TIP: Candy corn would be really yummy added, too.
