Chef Charlotte’s putting a monsterific spin on marshmallow treats with Franken Berry cereal. They’re ghoulishly delicious.

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus additional for coating baking dish
- 10 ounces miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups Franken Berry cereal, marshmallows reserved for topping
Prepare a 9-by-13 inch baking dish by coating it with butter.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a large non-stick pot over medium heat. Add marshmallows and stir with a spoon until melted. Remove from heat and add cereal, mixing until all cereal is coated with melted marshmallows.
Pour cereal mixture into baking dish and press mixture evenly and firmly using a spatula. Sprinkle top with reserved marshmallows from cereal. Let cool completely, placing in refrigerator, if necessary. Cut into 12 bars once cool.
CHEF CHARLOTTE TIP: My daddies said you can also use a 7 ounce jar of marshmallow fluff instead of actual marshmallows.
