We’ve all made paper chain garland as a child, but did you ever make it with hearts? We’ll show you how to create this super cute idea.
- Construction paper
Using a ruler and pencil, divide desired color construction paper widthwise into 1-inch strips. Cut out strips with scissors. Set aside.
To form heart, fold strip in half so ends meet. Curl ends inward to create heart shape. Staple ends of strip together to secure heart. Repeat previous steps to form another heart, placing bottom point of previously made heart in between ends of strips prior to stapling. Repeat steps to create chain, alternating colors as desired.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: To create bigger hearts, cut the paper lengthwise instead of widthwise.
