The Instant Pot can be such a time saver, especially when it comes to hard boiling eggs. This recipe gives you such perfect and easy to peel eggs that you may never cook them on the stove again.

Servings: Yields 6 eggs


  • 6 large eggs


Place metal trivet in pot of Instant Pot. Pour in 1 cup water.

Gently place 6 eggs into Instant Pot (You can cook more than 6 eggs as long as they are in a single layer without being stacked). Place lid on Instant Pot and lock into place, making sure the valve is set to seal. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.

Let pressure naturally release for 5 minutes then carefully open the pressure release valve (quick release). Remove lid and transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes. Peel eggs when ready to serve or store in refrigerator in a sealed container for up to 1 week.


ORANGE & FIELD TIP: For soft boiled eggs, modify the recipe to cook eggs for 3 minutes. Follow the rest of the recipe as it is.
