COOKING WITH CHEF CHARLOTTE
Chef Charlotte’s Jack-o’-Lantern Quesadilla is a fun (and delicious) Halloween snack idea. All of the little ghouls and goblins are sure to love it.
Prep time: 2 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
- 2 flour tortillas
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Stack tortillas on flat work surface. Using a paring knife, trim top and bottom of tortillas to create pumpkin shape. Discard (or eat) scraps.
Separate tortillas. Cut jack-o’-lantern face in one tortilla with paring knife.
Preheat skillet over medium heat. Place jack-o’-lantern face tortilla in skillet and cook until lightly browned, about 2 minutes. Remove from skillet. Place remaining tortilla in skillet and top with desired amount of cheese. Carefully place jack-o’-lantern face tortilla on top, lining up edges. Cook until bottom tortilla is lightly browned and cheese has melted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and let cool slightly.
CHEF CHARLOTTE TIP: This recipe requires a knife, skillet and a stovetop so be sure to have a grown-up help when making it.
