Bring a snowy winter scene into your home with this chic loop yarn wreath. You won’t believe how quick and easy it is to make this beautiful new addition to your holiday decor.
- Green foam wreath
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- White loop yarn
- Scissors (optional)
- Various bottle brush trees
- Ribbon (optional)
Place a dot of hot glue on one side of wreath. Place end of yarn strand on hot glue and let dry completely. Wrap yarn around wreath in clockwise motion, tightly clumping yarn together as you go. Repeat until you reach end of yarn skein. To begin new skein, tie together end of yarn strand around wreath to end of new strand. Continue wrapping yarn around wreath. If necessary, trim excess yarn once entire wreath has been wrapped. Work end of strand through 2-3 loops and knot to secure. Fluff wreath.
Arrange bottle brush trees by nestling them into yarn in center of wreath. If desired, secure with hot glue instead.
Hang wreath using yarn loops on wreath. If desired, wrap length of ribbon through center and secure ends with bow.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: We used a 14-inch foam wreath and 3 full skeins of 3.5 ounce loop yarn for this DIY.
