PAPER EASTER EGG WREATH

We always have a wreath hanging on our front door and Charlotte will usually request one for her bedroom door, as well. This simple DIY is perfect for those little helpers and little hands.

Supplies:

  • Foam board
  • Craft knife
  • Printed cardstock paper (we found this at our local craft store)
  • Egg cookie cutter
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon
  • Stapler
  • Staples
  • Craft glue (we used Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue)

Directions:

Cut a 10-inch circle out of foam board using a craft knife. Cut an 8-inch circle out of the middle to create a ring. Set aside.

Use cookie cutter to trace egg shape onto backside of paper. Cut out and repeat until you have desired number of eggs.

Cut length of ribbon for hanger. Form a loop with ribbon and staple to top of foam board circle.

Arrange eggs in an overlapping pattern on ring, lining bottom of eggs up with inner circle. Secure eggs to ring with dots of craft glue. Use remaining eggs to create inner layer that covers exposed foam board. Let dry completely.

Enjoy!

ORANGE & FIELD TIP: A piece of cardboard would also work in the event you don’t have foam board around the house.
