These adorable pinecone turkeys would be a fun addition to the kiddo’s Thanksgiving table. With just a few simple supplies, they’ll have a brand new friend.
- Felt in orange and red
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Googly wiggle eyes
- Feathers in various colors
If necessary, prep your pinecone by removing any debris from it.
Using scissors, cut a beak from orange felt and a waddle from red felt. Glue beak to waddle using hot glue. Let dry completely. Hot glue beak and waddle to tip on narrow end of pinecone. Let dry completely.
Carefully attach two wiggly eyes to a pinecone scale above beak using hot glue.
Place a large dollop of hot glue in between scales on opposite end of pinecone and insert feather. Let dry completely. Repeat until all feathers have been attached.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: These fun little turkeys could also be used as placecard holders on the kids’ table.
