With just a few supplies, you’ll have the most adorable Christmas trees you’ve ever seen. They’re fluffy, too.
- Styrofoam cones
- Red, white and green pom poms in assorted sizes
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
Place a dab of hot glue on styrofoam cone in desired location. Place pom pom in hot glue and press to secure until hot glue dries. Repeat with remaining pom poms until sides of cone have been completely covered.
Attach final pom pom to top of cone using hot glue. Let dry completely.
ORANGE & FIELD TIP: We actually have a few tips for this DIY. First, while this is a craft for kids, they will need help with gluing the Pom poms to the cone. We suggest using hot glue for convenience sake. Second, depending on the size of your cone, you may need quite a few pom poms. We found assortment packs of 300 pom poms at our local craft store. However, the packs tend to be light on the larger size pom poms, so keep that in mind. Third, you could attach your pom poms from largest at the bottom to smallest at the top. We liked the look of different size ones all over the trees, though. We think it’s more whimsical. Finally, as with the pom poms, this DIY requires quite a few hot glue sticks. Great news is, a lot of craft stores have these available fairly cheap.
