We love finding new and unique ways to let Charlotte’s creativity flourish. This fun button art craft does just that. With just about any color combination available to them, the kiddos are sure to have a blast making their custom piece of art.

  • Picture frame
  • Cardstock
  • Buttons in orange, brown and green
  • Craft glue

Carefully remove glass from picture frame and insert a sheet of cardstock in it’s place. If desired, apply a thin layer of craft glue to the back of the cardstock and attach it to the cardboard backing of the picture frame. This will prevent the cardstock from bowing out when the buttons are attached. Return cardboard backing to frame and secure.

Apply a small dab of graft glue to the back of an orange button and place it slightly off from the center of the cardstock. Repeat with additional orange buttons, working out from the center in a circular shape.

Once your happy with how your orange buttons look, glue brown buttons in the shape of a stem. Repeat with green buttons to create a vine and/or leaf. Let dry completely.

ORANGE & FIELD TIP: Packages of buttons in specific colors can be purchased at your local craft store. Typically these packages will contain buttons of different shapes, sizes and shades.
