This classic, tangy salsa is our homemade version of a restaurant-style favorite. It’s fresh, full of incredible flavor and is super easy to make. Delicioso!

SALSA CLÁSICA

Ingredients
  

  • 28 ounce can whole tomatoes with juice
  • 2 – 10 ounce cans RO*TEL
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup red onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jalapeno minced
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • Tortilla chips for serving (Charlotte loves our Baked Tortilla Chip Shapes)

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients in food processor and pulse until desired consistency is reached.
  • Refrigerate salsa for at least one hour prior to serving. Happy eating, friends!

Notes

ORANGE & FIELD TIP: We used the Original variety of RO*TEL for this recipe. If you want to change up the flavor (and the heat), select another variety. There’s so many to choose from!
