Do you ever get the feeling you’re being watched? With this simple DIY, you’ll have a spooky (but adorable) custom coffee mug perfect for that monster of a morning.
Supplies:
- Oven-safe black ceramic/stoneware mug
- White oil-based paint marker

Directions:
Wash and thoroughly dry mug.
Using paint marker, draw two eyes about 1-inch down from top inside edge of mug, leaving center black for pupils. Let cure for at least 8 hours.
Place mug in oven and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Turn off oven, open door and let mug cool completely in oven. Wash with warm soapy water prior to using or gifting.

ORANGE & FIELD TIP: Most oil-based paints are dishwasher safe after they’ve been cured and sealed. It makes cleanup that much easier.
