This filled glass tree brings a touch of elegance to your holiday decor. Create your own winter wonderland and “let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.”

  • Hollow glass tabletop tree (we found this at our local craft store)
  • Buffalo snow flakes (which can be found here)
  • Funnel
  • Miniature tabletop tree
  • Hot glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • Craft glue (we used Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue)
  • Paintbrush

If necessary, clean outside of glass tree with glass cleaner.

Using a funnel, fill glass tree 1/3 full with snow flakes. Carefully insert miniature tree into bottom of glass tree. If snow flakes become packed, slowly twist miniature tree to loosen them. Place a generous amount of hot glue along edges where base of miniature tree meets glass tree. Let dry completely.

Brush craft glue onto base and “trunk” of glass tree using paint brush. Sprinkle with snow flakes and shake off excess. Let dry completely.

ORANGE & FIELD TIP: The key is finding a miniature tree that will fit properly inside the glass tree. Be sure it’s not too thick or tall and that it has base that is wide and short enough to fill hole of “trunk” when fully inserted.
